Years ago when I was selling my artwork at conventions I made a set of 6 Buttonmen to hand out and distribute for free. It was an attempt to get people into the hobby and it gave myself and close friend (now wife) something to do while we were kicking about over the long weekends.
I didn't put much thought into the set at the time but thanks to TheOrgg (also the host of the Buttonman Wiki) over at Buttonweavers I decided to give them another go and redo the artwork so that they are all nicely consistent.
